NFL Week 10 BERLIN Showdown Strategy | Colts vs Falcons

November 8, 2025

Good morning, fantasy degenerates — it’s your lucky day. We’re dropping a bonus episode this week! I’m Eric Heater, host of the Heater Dynasty Podcast, your one-stop shop for all things fantasy football and DFS strategy. Since we’ve got another international showdown slate, I couldn’t resist putting together an extra episode to breakdown this NFL Week 10 Berlin Showdown Strategy.

I’ve been loving these global games this season, and this one — the Indianapolis Colts vs. Atlanta Falcons in Berlin, Germany — looks like one of the best yet. With an over/under of 48.5 points and a 6.5-point spread favoring the Colts, there’s plenty of fantasy potential packed into this matchup.

The tool isn’t about rigid projections — it helps you craft lineups based on game flow and narrative, which is crucial for single-game showdown slates, such as this NFL Week 10 Berlin showdown slate.

⚔️ Colts vs. Falcons: DFS Strategy and Captain Picks

This slate is stacked with quality plays — the challenge isn’t who to play, but who to leave out.

At captain, I see about five or six viable options, which means a less condensed roster build and potentially lower duplication in tournaments.

Here’s how I’m breaking down the top captain options:

Colts Side

  • Jonathan Taylor – Having an MVP-caliber season (and likely Offensive Player of the Year material). Everything in this offense flows through him.
  • Daniel Jones – My QB of choice this week, and I’m leaning Colts-heavy overall.
  • Tyler Warren – The breakout rookie tight end with strong chemistry with Jones.
  • Michael Pittman Jr. – Reliable, high-volume target with touchdown upside.

Falcons Side

  • Bijan Robinson – Despite a few recent stumbles, he remains the engine of this offense.
  • Drake London – The clear top receiving option for Atlanta.

That gives us six strong captain plays — and several different paths for builds.

💰 Value & Contrarian Plays

If you’re looking to get different or save salary, here are some value considerations:

  • Alec Pierce ($6,800) – Emerging as a deep threat for Daniel Jones and finding the end zone in recent weeks.
  • Kyle Pitts – Priced near the kickers, but still a viable tight end dart throw.
  • Tyler Allgeier ($3,000) – An intriguing pivot off Bijan Robinson; he’s getting red-zone touches and could be a sneaky GPP differentiator.

For kickers, look at Michael Badgley (Colts) and Zane Gonzalez (Falcons) — both in play depending on how you expect game flow to unfold.

🧠 Narrative-Based Builds & Game Script

When it comes to showdown slates, narrative matters.
We’re playing this one in Berlin — a neutral environment, different time zone, and unpredictable conditions. These international games tend to be volatile, often coming down to which team shows up ready to play.

From a coaching and preparation standpoint, I give the edge to the Colts. They’ve been more consistent and should be motivated to bounce back from last week’s struggles. I’ll be building more 4-2 Colts stacks for that reason.

That said, I wouldn’t rule out some Falcons-heavy contrarian builds — especially if you think the game tilts toward the run or becomes lower scoring.

🧩 Example Build Concepts

  1. Colts Onslaught (4-2 Stack)
    • Captain: Jonathan Taylor
    • Flex: Daniel Jones, Tyler Warren, Colts D/ST, Tyler Allgeier, Zane Gonzalez
  2. Balanced Back-and-Forth (3-3 Stack)
    • Captain: Michael Pittman Jr.
    • Flex: Daniel Jones, Jonathan Taylor, Drake London, Zane Gonzalez, Ameer Abdullah
  3. Ground-and-Pound Game Script (No QBs)
    • Captain: Bijan Robinson
    • Flex: Jonathan Taylor, Falcons D/ST, Colts D/ST, Drake London, Michael Badgley

Remember — don’t use all your salary. Leaving some on the table is an easy way to avoid duplicated lineups in showdown GPPs.

💭 Final Thoughts

This Week 10 international slate is tricky but fun. You’ll need to call your shot, trust your narrative, and embrace variance. Whether you’re building around Jonathan Taylor’s dominance or hoping for a Falcons rebound, the edges this week come from unique builds and game theory, not just projections.
