Welcome back, my friendly degenerates! I’m Eric Heater, your one-stop shop for all things fantasy football and DFS strategy. This week, I’m breaking down the NFL Week 10 main slate — a 10-game lineup that’s shaping up to be one of the most balanced and competitive of the season. Whether you’re building cash lineups or chasing GPP glory, there’s plenty of value, leverage, and ceiling potential to go around. But before we get into my NFL Week 10 Top DFS Plays, Here is how you can get your own copy of my DFS lineup builder tool
Eric’s DFS lineup builder tool—available on PatreonandEtsy—is designed to simplify roster construction. Features like automatic salary recalculations, late-swap flexibility, and custom player pools make optimizing lineups faster and smarter.
This tool empowers users to test multiple builds instantly, making it easier to pivot between cash game safety and GPP risk/reward profiles. Now onto the NFL Week 10 Top Draftkings DFS plays:
🏈 Top Week 10 Games to Target
The Week 10 slate is loaded with high-total games, but a few stand above the rest:
Bills vs. Dolphins (O/U 50.5, -9.5 BUF) Josh Allen absolutely loves playing Miami, and with the Dolphins selling off key defensive pieces at the trade deadline, Buffalo should dominate this matchup. Allen is one of my top QB plays of the week.
Lions vs. Commanders (O/U 49.5, -8.5 DET) My poor Commanders are in trouble here. The Lions’ offense is firing on all cylinders, and I expect Jared Goff and company to roll — especially with the President reportedly in the owner’s box. Yikes.
Rams vs. 49ers (O/U 49.5, -5.5 SF) Can Kyle Shanahan outcoach Sean McVay again? I think the Rams bounce back this time in what should be a tightly contested NFC matchup.
Buccaneers vs. Patriots (O/U 48.5, -2.5 TB) Both teams have elite rush defenses and banged-up running back rooms, which means this could turn into a pass-heavy DFS goldmine.
Ravens vs. Vikings (O/U 48.5, -3.5 BAL) Baltimore is healthy again, and Lamar Jackson looks primed for a big performance against a Minnesota team starting rookie QB JJ McCarthy. I’m backing the Ravens to handle business here.
💪 Quarterback Breakdown
This slate offers two clear strategies — pay up or pay down.
Top Tier QBs:
Lamar Jackson ($7,000) – Highest projection on the slate and a massive rushing floor.
Josh Allen ($7,000) – Best game environment of the week; rushing upside intact.
Value QBs:
Jaxson Dart ($5,700) – Four straight games with a rushing TD and steady production.
Jacoby Brissett ($4,600) – Filling in for Kyler Murray and actually outperforming him. Cheap, steady, and opens up salary flexibility.
🏃♂️ Running Back Targets
Running backs get pricier this week, but a few names stand out:
De’Von Achane – Locked in for me. With Miami thin at skill positions, he’s seeing elite volume and targets.
Rico Dowdle – Now the starter, playing 70%+ of snaps and averaging over 100 yards per game.
Christian McCaffrey ($9,000) – Expensive but worth it if you can make the salary fit.
Derrick Henry – Great pivot off Lamar stacks in game scripts where Baltimore controls time of possession.
Other Mentions: Jahmyr Gibbs, Quinshon Judkins, James Cook, David Montgomery (massive upside vs. Washington).
🎯 Wide Receiver Pool
Wide receiver will make or break your Week 10 slate — and it’s loaded.
Top Tier:
Puka Nacua – My favorite of the bunch. The Rams will need him heavily in a high-volume game.
Jackson Smith-Njigba – Essentially the Seahawks’ entire passing offense right now.
Amon-Ra St. Brown – Great floor, but potential for a blowout limits ceiling slightly.
Value Plays:
Zay Flowers ($5,900) – Consistent usage in a balanced Ravens attack.
Week 10 brings a balanced but challenging DFS slate where salary management and correlation will separate winners from the pack. Whether you’re paying up for elite stacks or punting value plays, focus on game environments and ownership leverage. I’ll be updating my player pool and projections all week over at HeaterDynasty.com — make sure to check it out, and good luck chasing those wins!
