NFL Week 12 DFS Picks & Strategy for DraftKings | Top Cash Plays & Must-Target Matchups

November 23, 2025

Welcome back to the Heater Dynasty podcast! I’m your host, Eric Heater, your one-stop shop for all things fantasy football, DFS strategy, and weekly DraftKings breakdowns. And yes… I know. Before we get into my top NFL week 12 DFS Picks, I admit I missed Thursday Night Football this week. My bad. But trust me — it was for a good reason.

I’ve been putting in extra work on next week’s Thanksgiving content, including individual showdown slate breakdowns plus a full three-game slate strategy guide. That’s coming soon, and you’re not going to want to miss it.

But today, we’re here for the big one:

NFL Week 12 Main Slate – 11 Games Packed With DFS Value

And because I missed the Thursday game, I’ve got a special treat for you…

My full DFS spreadsheet is FREE this week.

You can download it HERE

Normally it’s $5 on Patreon, but this week you get it free, AND you still get a $5 promo code toward the full-season package.

Now let’s dive into the slate.

🔥 Slate Overview: 5 Games That Matter Most for DFS

This week features several high-total matchups, big injury storylines, and situations where pricing opened clear value paths for cash and GPP builds.

Here are the five games I’m prioritizing:

1. Chiefs vs. Colts — 50.5 Total (KC -3.5)

This is one of my favorite games of the week. KC is favored at home, but I think Indianapolis shows up in a big way. Several elite DFS pieces on both sides make this extremely stackable.

2. Lions vs. Giants — 50.5 Total (DET -10)

Jameis Winston is back under center… and that always means variance chaos.
Detroit is the top side to target, but the Giants offer cheap value that unlocks elite studs.

This is my favorite game to target heavily in cash.

3. Patriots vs. Bengals — 50.5 Total (NE -8.5, but Burrow news TBD)

If Joe Burrow is active, this game becomes a smash spot for GPP stacks.
If he’s out, it becomes a Patriots-focused script.

4. Eagles vs. Cowboys — 47.5 Total (PHI -3)

This is the one top game I’m largely fading in full-game stacks.

Philly’s pace is slow, their defense is elite, and this matchup projects to hit the under. There are still one-off plays, but it’s not a priority stack.

5. Jaguars vs. Cardinals — 47.5 Total (JAX -3)

Jacoby Brissett is once again the best quarterback play on the entire slate, especially for cash. The triple stack smashed last week — and it might again.

🧠 Positional Breakdown: Top DFS Plays for Week 12

🏈 Quarterbacks

1. Jacoby Brissett – $5,300 (Cash Lock)

Still too cheap, still efficient, and still in a pass-first offense with injured RB depth. He’s my No.1 QB in all formats, and especially cash.

2. Drake Maye – GPP

Top-priced QB, tougher to fit in cash, but huge ceiling. Great tournament pivot.

3. Jared Goff – GPP

If Detroit rolls — and they probably will — Goff can be the engine.

4. Lamar Jackson – GPP

Lower ownership, always ceiling.

Honorable Mentions:

Daniel Jones, Sam Darnold (blowout script), Patrick Mahomes (game stack only)

🏃 Running Backs

1. Jahmyr Gibbs – Cash Priority

Elite projection + elite usage + elite matchup. Probably the top play on the entire slate.

2. Chase Brown – Chalk Value

Massive ownership, but hard to fade in cash unless you pivot for leverage.

3. D’Andre Swift – Leverage Play

Only ~14% projected ownership and cheaper than Brown. Great pivot or RB2.

4. Bijan Robinson – Tournament Upside

Better for GPPs but firmly in play.

5. Derrick Henry – Sneaky Volume

Game-script dependent but intriguing mid-range play.

Conditional:

If Josh Jacobs misses, Emanuel Wilson becomes an instant cash value at $5,300.

Tournament Mention:

David Montgomery — Dan Campbell coach-speak suggests a usage spike. Strong leverage off Gibbs.

🎯 Wide Receivers

1. Amon-Ra St. Brown – Cash Lock

The Sun God is in a tier of his own this week.

2. Jaxon Smith-Njigba

Certified alpha. Salary still not high enough.

3. Michael Wilson

Top pairing with Brissett. Great value even after price increase.

4. Rashee Rice

KC needs to win this game. Rice has taken over the short-area passing role.

5. Wan’dale Robinson

Safest Giants WR. Cheap, strong value.

6. Isaiah Hodgins – Salary Saver

Minimum price, 21% target share last week, 80% snaps with Jameis.
My favorite punt WR of the slate.

7. Jakobi Meyers (JAX)

Great runback option in JAX–ARI stacks.

8. Jameson Williams – GPP

Never cash, always upside.

9. Romeo Doubs – Value WR

Mid-range salary filler for balanced builds.

10. Tee Higgins

Great play with Flacco; elite if Burrow plays.

Honorable Mention:

Chris Olave — if active, he’s underpriced at $6,400.

🦾 Tight Ends

1. Trey McBride – Cash Lock

He’s too cheap for his role. Chalk but unavoidable.

2. Travis Kelce – GPP Leverage Off McBride

If KC pushes the pace, Kelce can outscore McBride at lower ownership.

3. Mark Andrews – Strong Tournament Play

4. Hunter Henry – Best Salary Saver

Ideal for two-TE builds.

Tournament Leverage Play:

Brock Bowers — sneaky pivot off the chalky McBride/Kelce ownership.

🛡️ Defenses

1. Browns – Best Overall Defense

Turnover machine matchup vs Geno.

2. Saints

Kirk Cousins looks hurt… and refuses to say it.

3. Ravens

Tournament pivot.

4. Seahawks – High-UpSide GPP Play

Expensive, but could break the slate.

🚀 Leverage & Dart Throws

Aaron Jones – forgotten this week

TreVeyon Henderson – last cheap week before breakout

Michael Pittman Jr. – $6k is too cheap

Bhayshul Tuten – outpaced Etienne last week at $4,600

All are strong tournament pivots.

🔨 Sample Builds & Stack Ideas

Here are a few stacks I’m most excited about:

1. Daniel Jones Stack (GPP)

  • Daniel Jones
  • Michael Pittman
  • Alec Pierce or Tyler Warren
  • Bring back: Rashee Rice

2. Patrick Mahomes Skinny Stack (GPP)

  • Mahomes
  • Rashee Rice
  • Optional: Travis Kelce (expensive)
  • Bring back: Jonathan Taylor

3. Lions Onslaught (Cash or GPP)

  • Jared Goff
  • Amon-Ra St. Brown
  • Jameson Williams
  • David Montgomery
  • Optional bring-back: Isaiah Hodgins or Wandale Robinson

4. Jacoby Brissett Triple Stack (Cash/GPP)

  • Brissett
  • Michael Wilson
  • Greg Dortch
  • Trey McBride
  • Bring back: B. Tulen

I love this one again.

5. Drake Maye Stack

  • Drake Maye
  • Stefon Diggs
  • Hunter Henry
  • Bring back: Tee Higgins (elite if Burrow active)

🦃 Final Thoughts: Week 12 Is Loaded With Value

This slate is stacked with:

  • underpriced elite plays,
  • cheap punt values,
  • upgraded QB/WR matchups, and
  • huge leverage opportunities.

I’ll see you next week for my full Thanksgiving Slate Mega Breakdown — my favorite content of the entire season.

Good luck in Week 12, and I’ll talk to you soon!
