December 6, 2025

Welcome back to the Heater Dynasty Podcast! I’m Eric Heater, and today I’m diving into the NFL Week 14 main slate. It’s already Week 14, which feels wild, but this slate is loaded with great spots for both cash and GPP lineups. In this article, I’ll walk you through the top games, my favorite plays, and some tournament pivots you can use on DraftKings.

Top Games on the Week 14 Slate

This week features 11 games, but only a few truly stand out. Here are the ones I’m targeting the most.

1. Bills vs. Bengals (52.5 O/U, Bills -5.5)

This is the clear headline game of the slate. Joe Burrow is back, the Bills are still leaning heavily on Josh Allen and James Cook, and this one should be fast and competitive. It’s a great spot for stacks and bring-backs in tournaments.

2. Rams vs. Cardinals (48.5 O/U, Rams -7.5)

The Rams looked rough last week, but I think that was an outlier. This matchup should bounce them back. The big question is whether Jacoby Brissett can keep the Cardinals competitive without Marvin Harrison Jr. He has done it recently, so I’m not counting him out.

I expect solid fantasy production across the board here.

3. Colts vs. Jaguars (47.5 O/U, Colts -1.5)

This game might end up being the best fantasy environment on the slate. The Colts’ pass-catcher roles have been unpredictable, but the matchup is fantastic. The Jaguars cannot stop tight ends, so Tyler Warren becomes a key play.

On the Jags’ side, this comes down to which Trevor Lawrence shows up. If he plays well, this game could shoot out quickly.

4. Packers vs. Bears (44.5 O/U, Packers -6.5)

This spread feels strange because the Bears are currently the number-one team in the NFC. It feels like bulletin-board material, and I expect the Bears to respond. The total is low, but both teams have explosive players, so it still cracks the top five games.

5. Seahawks vs. Falcons (44.5 O/U, Seahawks -7)

The Seahawks have been destroying teams, so I think this line is a little disrespectful. The real question is whether Atlanta can keep the game competitive enough for Seattle to produce a full fantasy ceiling. This one could get out of hand early.

My DFS Player Pool and the Free Tool

If you’re new here, I update my DFS tool each week. It normally costs $5 on Patreon, but I’m giving it away for free for the rest of the season. The link is available on YouTube, Spotify, and Patreon.

The tool helps you narrow down the player pool and group plays by position and slate. It’s perfect for hand-building lineups.

Week 14 DFS Breakdown (DraftKings Focused)

Quarterbacks

Top Cash Options

  • Trevor Lawrence – $5,400
His salary is too cheap for this game environment. He implodes sometimes, but for cash he makes sense.
  • Jayden Daniels – $6,000
This price is criminal. He finally has his full receiving corps healthy. I love him in all formats.
  • Tyrod Taylor – $4,900
He only needs around 18 points to hit value, and he has hit that for three straight weeks.
  • Jacoby Brissett – $5,500
He’s viable, but the magic may be wearing off. I prefer the others for cash.

Honorable Mentions

Sam Darnold, Baker Mayfield, Josh Allen (expensive), Daniel Jones (leverage).

Running Backs

Top Options

  • James Cook – $7,800
He’s underpriced compared to the other studs.
  • Ashton Jeanty – $7,600
His role keeps growing, and PPR scoring helps him.
  • Josh Jacobs – $7,100
    Affordable, steady volume.
  • Breece Hall – $6,900
Always capable of breaking a slate.

GPP Options

Jonathan Taylor, Devon Achane, Quinshon Judkins, Bucky Irving, R.J. Harvey, Kyren Williams.

Wide Receivers

Start With the Free Square

  • Michael Wilson – $3,800
With Marvin Harrison Jr. and Greg Dortch out, he’s way too cheap. Everyone will play him, and that’s fine.

Top Tier Options

  1. Puka Nacua
  2. Ja’marr Chase
  3. JSN (Jaxon Smith-Njigba)

Price determines the order for me this week.

Mid-Tier and Value Options

  • Emeka Egbuka
  • Christian Watson
  • Terry McLaurin
  • Adonai Mitchell
  • Luther Burden
  • Jakobi Meyers

Lots of ways to build here.

Tight Ends

We finally get to move off Trey McBride in cash. He’s $8,000, which is just too expensive.

Top Plays

  • Tyler Warren – $5,000
Great matchup. My favorite cash TE.
  • Harold Fannin
  • Trey McBride (GPP and flex builds)
  • Brenton Strange

Honorable Mentions

Kyle Pitts, Brock Bowers, Colston Loveland.

Defenses

Top Options

  • Browns
  • Titans

This is the lowest-total game on the slate. Both are viable, and the Titans are cheaper.

Other Options

  • Commanders
  • Buccaneers
  • Steelers

In tournaments, make sure you pivot away from the chalky Titans and Browns.

Top Leverage Plays and Dart Throws

Quarterback Leverage

  • Daniel Jones
  • Sam Darnold

Both are priced near the chalky QBs but should be far less popular.

Running Back Leverage

  • Kyren Williams

Dart Throws

  • Devaughn Vele
  • Juwan Johnson
  • Pat Bryant

These players help you save salary while still offering upside.

Example Cash Builds

Here’s a quick look at how I’m approaching cash lineups this week. These aren’t final, but they show how the slate shapes up.

Build 1: Jaden Daniels

  • Jaden Daniels
  • James Cook
  • Ashton Jeanty
  • Ja’marr Chase
  • Terry McLaurin
  • Adonai Mitchell
  • Tyler Warren
  • Titans D
  • Devaughn Vele

Build 2: Trevor Lawrence

  • Trevor Lawrence
  • James Cook
  • Josh Jacobs
  • Ja’marr Chase
  • Terry McLaurin
  • Adonai Mitchell
  • Tyler Warren
  • Titans D
  • Pat Bryant

Both builds will need tweaking, but this gives me a baseline.

GPP Stacks I Love

Daniel Jones Stack

  • Daniel Jones
  • Alec Pierce
  • Tyler Warren
  • Bring-back: Jakobi Meyers or Brian Thomas Jr.

Baker Mayfield Stack

  • Baker Mayfield
  • Bucky Irving
  • Emeka Egbuka
  • Bring-back: Devon Vele

Sam Darnold Stack

  • Sam Darnold
  • JSN
  • Bring-back: Bijan Robinson

Great double leverage here.

Jayden Daniels Stack (My Commander Bias!)

  • Jayden Daniels
  • Terry McLaurin
  • Zack Ertz
  • Optional: Treylon Burks
  • Bring-back: Justin Jefferson
